Give your running shoes a second life while supporting charitable organizations making a difference right here in the Newport community.
By dropping off your sneakers at the Amica Newport Marathon or using one of our free mail-in bags, you’re helping keep usable running shoes out of landfills while raising funds for the race’s local charitable partners.
Every pair collected supports the Amica Newport Marathon’s partner charities such as, Aquidneck Land Trust, Boys & Girls Club of Newport County, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center and the Newport County YMCA.

If you’d like to mail in more sneakers, simply order a free bag and follow the directions below.
HOW IT WORKS
- Fill your bag with 7-9 pairs of gently worn sneakers and running shoes with no holes.
- Refer to the attached shipping label and drop it off with the designated shipping carrier.
- Celebrate your impact in Newport and communities around the world!
